YouthSAT Kiryandongo: 5 Positions, 1 Team
YouthSAT is building a complete project team for PlayMatters 3.0 in Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement. All 5 roles below are part of the same consortium project (War Child Alliance + IRC), based in Bweyale Town, and share the same deadline: Monday, 18 August 2026 at 4:00 PM EAT. 1. Project Team Leader / Field Office Manager – YouthSAT
Location: Kiryandongo (Bweyale) | Deadline: 18 August 2026 | Contract: 24 Months
Lead the entire Kiryandongo PlayMatters 3.0 field team, managing project delivery, staff supervision, partner coordination, and reporting to the consortium. The most senior of the 5 YouthSAT roles.
2. Education Project Officers (2 Positions) – YouthSAT
Location: Kiryandongo (Bweyale) | Deadline: 18 August 2026 | Contract: 24 Months
Deliver the Learning through Play (LtP) curriculum across schools, train teachers on LEGO “Six Bricks” concepts, facilitate community engagement, and distribute Play Kits. Requires Diploma/Degree in Education + 3 years’ experience + valid motorcycle license.
3. Project Finance Officer – YouthSAT
Location: Kiryandongo (Bweyale) | Deadline: 18 August 2026 | Contract: 24 Months
Manage all field office finances: QuickBooks bookkeeping, BVA analysis, voucher verification, bank accounts, petty cash, and compliance with War Child Alliance donor regulations and Ugandan tax (WHT, PAYE). Requires B.Com/Finance + CPA/ACCA progress + 3–4 years’ NGO experience.
4. MEAL Officer – YouthSAT
Location: Kiryandongo (Bweyale) | Deadline: 18 August 2026 | Contract: 24 Months
Design and maintain data collection systems using KoboToolbox/ODK/CommCare, lead baseline/midline/endline studies, manage Community Feedback Mechanisms, and document lessons learned. Requires Statistics/M&E degree + 3 years’ humanitarian MEAL experience + SPSS/STATA proficiency.
5. Office Administrative Assistant – YouthSAT
Location: Kiryandongo (Bweyale) | Deadline: 18 August 2026 | Contract: 12 Months
Manage front office, logistics, procurement support, HR coordination, event planning, and staff supervision for the field office. The most accessible YouthSAT role: requires only Diploma + 2–3 years’ NGO admin experience.
6. Impact Investment Fellow (WASH) – Relevant
Location: Kampala (Hybrid, Innovation District) | Deadline: 23 August 2026 | Contract: 6 Months (potential permanent)
