1. Accepting these terms

In short Using the site means you accept these terms.

By accessing this website you agree to these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top of this page is the date of the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

2. What this service is

In short We publish job adverts. We are not a recruitment agency.

NextRoleHub is a job board. We publish vacancies sourced from employers and we publish career guidance. We are not a recruitment agency, a labour export company, or an employment bureau, and we do not act as an agent for any employer or candidate.

We do not participate in hiring decisions. Shortlisting, interviewing, selection and any offer of employment are entirely matters for the employer.

3. Free for job seekers

In short Applying costs nothing, and it never will.

Access to listings and career guidance is free. We do not charge job seekers to view, search or apply for any vacancy on this site, and we will not introduce such a charge.

If any person or listing asks you for money in connection with a vacancy found here, that is not us and it is not legitimate. Report it.

Warning. No legitimate employer in Uganda charges a candidate an application, processing, interview or shortlisting fee. Any such request is fraud regardless of what it is called.

4. Accuracy, and its limits

In short We verify what we can. We cannot guarantee an employer’s conduct.

We take reasonable steps to confirm that each advert originates from the employer named, that the organisation exists, and that the stated terms include no candidate-paid fee. Our published verification process describes what we check.

What we cannot do is guarantee the conduct of a third party. An employer may change a role, extend or cancel a recruitment, fill a post internally, or fail to respond to applicants. We are not responsible for those decisions and we give no warranty as to the outcome of any application.

Where we discover that a listing is inaccurate or fraudulent we remove it. If you spot one before we do, tell us.

5. Using the site properly

In short No scraping, no fake listings, no misuse of contact details.

You agree not to:

• —Submit a vacancy you are not authorised to advertise, or one that does not exist
• —Use the site to solicit money from job seekers, in any form
• —Scrape, harvest or bulk-copy listings or contact details
• —Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or interfere with its operation
• —Post content that is unlawful, discriminatory or misleading

We may remove content and block access where these terms are breached, and we will report suspected recruitment fraud to the relevant authorities.

6. Employers posting roles

In short You warrant the role is real and the terms are as stated.

If you submit a vacancy you warrant that you are authorised to advertise it, that the role genuinely exists on the terms described, and that no fee of any kind will be requested from a candidate at any stage.

We reserve the right to decline or remove any submission, including where we cannot verify the organisation or where the advert asks a candidate for payment. We are not obliged to give reasons.

You remain responsible for the content you provide and for compliance with Ugandan employment and equal-opportunity law.

7. Our content

In short Our guides are ours. Job adverts belong to the employers.

Career guides, editorial content, the site design and the NextRoleHub name are our property. You may read and share them with attribution and a link, but not republish them wholesale or present them as your own.

Job advert text remains the property of the employer who supplied it. We publish it for the purpose of recruitment.

8. Limitation of liability

In short We are not liable for losses arising from a third party’s conduct.

The site is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis. To the extent permitted by Ugandan law, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of the site, including transport or application costs, loss of an opportunity, or any act or omission of an employer or other third party.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Links to other sites

In short We link out to employers. We do not control those sites.

Adverts link to employer careers pages, application portals and email addresses controlled by third parties. We are not responsible for the content, security or privacy practices of any site we link to.

10. Governing law

In short Ugandan law, Ugandan courts.

These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda, and the courts of Uganda have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of this site.
